arrow left If you haven't experienced a real, live, in-person Beauty and the Beast convention, you don't know what you're missing!

Imagine walking into a room full of people who share the dream.  Imagine a candle lighting ceremony with real candles. Imagine being surrounded by friends, old and new, all of whom "understand."

Artwork, in its original form, to feast your eyes upon--and 'zines and memorabilia to buy. (Needing a new suitcase to get everything home!) The Kazoo University, the Talent Show, the Costume Parade, seeing Vincent in the flesh (or, at least, the latex), fun excursions to local attractions, late night chats that don't require a computer, videos full of unimaginable delights. Laughing so hard your face hurts.

All this and more can be yours at the next B&B con!

Check out the con web site for more information and get your registration form turned in. If money is an issue (and for whom isn't it in this economy?) you can find roomies at the con yahoo group. Even if money weren't an issue, you'll have more fun with a roomie or three anyway!

Ok? See you in July then! :-D

Now listen to C2H60Free wax poetic about her first con, back in the day.

Warning, it contains some mild innuendo. If that's not your cup of tea, maybe skip it. But if you enjoyed her Winterfest comic, you'll likely get a kick out of this too.

The First Time
by C2H60Free

When first I was a virgin pure,
My mother sternly said,
"You have this gift to give but once;
On this don't be misled."

She said it would be quickly done.
She swore she was correct;
For nothing could remain so long
And perfectly erect!

She warned me that I'd likely find
Discomfort at the first.
With this all said, I found that my
Romantic bubble burst!

For all these years I would have sworn
My mother tells no lies;
But then, I came to TunnelCon...
Surprise! Surprise! Surprise!

I'm told upon arriving my
Virginity's restored.
Quick! Point me to the nearest phone!
My mother will be floored!

And when I tell her my next news,
Her eyes will surely glaze.
I rode the crest not one brief night;
It lasted three whole days!

Of pain, I'll have to tell her true,
I haven't had the least;
But then, what else could one expect
From Beauty and the Beast?

I've seen it proven here each day
That Love is our best chance.
So, thank you all for patching up
My bubble of romance.
